Fokofpolisiekar live, 2005, Two Oceans Aquariam

From 2003 to 2006 Fokofplisiekar released two full length albums and four EPs. The band has been embroiled in controversy since its inception. Initially, radio stations were hesitant to play the band's tracks because of the profane "Fokof" ("fuck off") in the band's name. Outrage has also been expressed by the Christian community over the use of allegedly "anti-religious" sentiments. In 2007 the band announced that they would concentrate on solo projects.
