• I am 45 years old and have been in the photographic industry for 24 years.
• I worked in a photographic laboratory for 13 years.
• I worked with and was taught by one of South Africa’s top photographers.
• Creativity and determination are the keys to my success.
• Relationship building with clients is crucial to my business and personal growth.

Career History

• During my School career I spent my holidays & weekends working in the community.
• Jan 1984 – Worked for a computer company.
• Oct 1987 – May 2001 worked in Gauteng for Mass Media.
• June 2001 – opened my own business named Jade Photography.

Experience

• I started of my career in the darkroom where I was taught how to print, which has given me a strong understanding of how images need to be photographed to capture the moment.
• I have worked on numerous projects ranging from people to architecture.
• I have had the opportunity to travel to many destinations within South Africa where I have worked on community based photographic assignments.

Achievements

• I have been chosen to work on the Jet Community Awards project for the last three years, which has taken me all over South Africa. Locations vary from the City to deep rural.
• I worked with the Bill Gates foundation in Mozambique
• I worked with Transnet & Minister Erwin on the Phelophepa train indaba
• I have worked on various local and international television shows

Siemens, Audi, Anglo Gold, Cosmopolitan Magazine (various events / functions held in Johannesburg), Vodacom, MTN special events, Official photographer for Will Smith & Oprah whilst in SA, as well as the South African ‘O’ Magazine. Photographer for World Cup Cricket held in South Africa, 2003. Worked on the Road Show for Transnet and Vodacom in Mozambique Worked with Citi Bank on the Kenneth Kaunda Habitat for Humanity project House & Leisure photographer for the shopping directory, monthly Cell C (take a girl child to work day) project Edcon - Jet Community Project. Received an
